- ½ a teaspoon of honey
- 1 vitamin E capsule
- 3 drops of coconut oil
- your favorite facial toner
Take a tiny amount of aloe gel. Open a vitamin E capsule, and mix in the honey to create a gummy-like mask. Add the 3 drops of the coconut oil for extra glow and skin brightening. Rub the mixture into your skin in circular motions for 2 to 3 minutes all over face and any areas that are sun damaged. - 1/3 cup of aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil
- 2 tablespoons jojoba oil
- a tablespoon of beeswax
- 10 to 15 drops of your fancied essential oil
- 2 drops vitamin e oil, this is optional
Heat the almond and jojoba oil with the beeswax in a double boiler until it is melted and well blended. This can take about 2-5 minutes. Pour the oil mixture into a bowl big enough to use a hand mixer in without causing any splashing. Let the oil mixture cool to room temperature- for at least an hour, or probably more. Mix in the essential oils with the aloe vera gel.Once the blend is at room temperature, slowly begin to add the aloe vera gel while using the hand mixer to whip the moisturizer. You might not need all of the aloe gel so add it in gradually. Continue whipping until it gets your desired consistency or for about ten minutes, then put in a container with a tight lid and use it when needed. You must use real aloe vera gel, not aloe vera juice Without the gel consistency; the moisturizer will not whip and mix as well.
